Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Today, Friday 1 June, we celebrated Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. Pupils came to school wearing homemade crowns and wearing one red, white or blue garment.

A morning packed with activities had been arranged. In their houses, pupils went to four activity stations where they iced cup cakes in red, white and blue; made their packed lunches and designed their sandwich bags; learnt songs and had a sing-song and designed the tablecloths ready for their Jubilee picnic.

In the afternoon a Union Jack was formed by pupils holding balloons.

At the end of the day all pupils went home with a commemorative bookmark and a good memory of an enjoyable day.
