Children in Need

Today we have been busy raising money for Children in Need. We all came to school wearing something ‘spotty’.

Later in the morning we took part in a hula hoop competition organised by Mrs Moon and Miss Ingle. The whole of the Year 2 class wrote to Stray FM to let them know about our fund raising activity and Nick Hancock mentioned it on his show and read out Neeve’s letter.

Pupils have been practising all week and are really rather good and have put the adults to shame. The winners of the hula hoop competition are: KS1 - 1st Chloe, 2nd Charley, 3rd Amelia; Y3 & Y4 - 1st Daisy, 2nd Blossom, 3rd Ben; Y5 &Y6 - Joint 1st Annabelle and JB, 3rd Georgina. Daisy, Annabelle and JB had to be stopped at 1 hour to return to lessons! Well done the total raised for Children in Need was £189.50.
