Road Safety Visit

Brackenfield School pupils learnt about road safety with a visit from PC John Jakes. After a talk in assembly, the pupils practiced road safety under the guidance of PC Jakes. They also had the chance to try on police hats and even sit in the driver’s seat of the police car. Headteacher, Pat Sowa was delighted that PC Jakes was able to visit. “Road safety is so important for children of all ages. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the visit from PC Jakes and learnt so much about keeping safe on our roads. I would like to thank PC Jakes for the time he spent at Brackenfield”.
