The ‘core’ school day runs from 8.30am until 3.30pm.
Our breakfast club runs from 7.30am offering a healthy breakfast to start the day.
Children can arrive at school from 8.20am and may be collected at the end of the ‘core’ day, or stay at school until 5.55pm. On Fridays years 4,5 and 6 stay until 4.15pm to enjoy an additional games lesson.
Pupils may join one of the many after-school clubs between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. They may then be collected, or join the After School Club until 5.55pm. From Monday to Thursday a quiet room is provided for children to complete their homework. All children who remain at school until 5.55pm enjoy a drink and afternoon tea.
There is a wide range of additional activities available to the children throughout the week. Most of these take place during the lunch break or in the afternoon between 3.30 and 4.30pm.
Examples of activities are:
- Table tennis
- Leeds United football training
- Senior and junior choirs
- Flute, clarinet, recorder, and percussion ensembles
- Netball, rugby, cricket & other summer sports
- Traversing wall
